How to Find the Best Amazon Sale Deals on Homeware Year-Round – Save Big on Ninja, Dyson, Le Creuset, and More

Ninja air fryer, AeroPress, Dyson vacuum, Le Creuset dish, Samsung sound system, eufy robot vacuum, and checkered herb pots on tile background with Homes & Gardens '&' logo.

Amazon sales and generous discounts are running year-round, meaning you can pick up the best homeware and appliances for less, even between the retailer's bigger and more well-known events. Its fast delivery and easy returns make it an enduringly popular place to shop online.

Our team of shopping editors covers every major Amazon sale from Prime Day to Black Friday, and in between, we're always on the lookout for genuinely good offers on products that we love using, so that we can recommend them to you at their lowest prices.

We've curated a quick list below to take you to each Amazon sale by department, a selection of the products we love in the sales, and tips on how to find the best price in the Amazon home sales, so you can find deep discounts on anything from the best non-toxic air fryers to the best vacuum cleaners.

33 Amazon Products Our Editors Love

Here are 33 products at Amazon that our shopping editors always look out for in the sales (luckily, some of them are on offer right now):

How Can You Tell If You've Found a Good Deal at Amazon?

Use a Price Tracking Tool

Shop like our shopping editors and use a price tracking tool, which gives you access to the price history of a particular product. That way, you can work out from context whether you're actually getting a good deal, or if you'd be better off waiting for prices to fall further in future sales.

For Amazon, I recommend CamelCamelCamel. Here's how it works: Paste the Amazon link into CamelCamelCamel's search bar, and you'll see the product's lowest recorded price, as well as its average price, and which month that price tends to fluctuate.

These figures form 'humps' on a line graph, like the back of a camel, hence the name. Sometimes, Amazon stores up the prices before a sale event, and this is a great way to catch when they're emphasizing how big the discount is.

Use Comparison Sites

This could be as easy as clicking the Google 'Shopping' tab at the top of your search engine results page. You might find that the best deal isn't on Amazon at all, but Walmart, Target, Wayfair, QVC or direct from the brand you're shopping.

Only Buy the Items You Actually Need

Throughout the year, I keep an Amazon wish list of the items and appliances I want to buy. Sometimes, I add the item to my cart before the sale begins, so that I can buy it right away when the deal drops.

If you're looking for something specific, whether it's the best non-toxic coffee makers, the best soundbars, or the best mattress toppers, read real, hands-on reviews to hone in on the product that's right for you and your home.

When the sales start, I'm strict with myself – I only let myself shop from my wish list. That way, I get the dopamine hit from bargain-hunting, but I don't fall victim to overspending.

When Is the Best Time to Get an Amazon Deal?

You can find deals at Amazon all year round, but during sale events like Prime Day, Labor Day, Black Friday, and the spring sales, you'll find the best selection and the deepest savings.

Amazon is one of the best retailers for low prices and frequent discounts, and whether it's furniture, appliances, or essentials you're shopping for, you're pretty much always guaranteed to find some savings.

FAQs

Do You Have to Be a Prime Member to Access Amazon Deals?

During Amazon's Prime Days, anything labeled as a 'Prime Day deal' is exclusive to members. Most of the deals during Prime Day are exclusive to Prime members.

Other Amazon sales, such as Black Friday and the spring sales, are generally not exclusive to Prime members, but to access the deepest discounts and the widest range of deals with fast delivery, you should sign up for Amazon Prime.

Here's a workaround if you want this access but don't want to pay for Prime all year: Sign up for the one-month free Amazon Prime trial right before you want to shop.

For that month, you'll get free one-day delivery, plus access to Amazon's Prime Video streaming service. As long as you cancel before the 30-day cut-off, you won't be charged. If you forget to cancel your payment, you'll be charged $14.99 a month.

What Time Do Amazon Prime Days Start and End?

Amazon's Prime Day sales start at 00:01 on the opening day, and finish at 23:59 on the final day, Pacific time. So, if you're on the West coast, they start at midnight, but if you're on the East coast, they begin at 3am.

Are Amazon Sales Worth It?

It might seem like over-hype, but Amazon's sales are better times to find a deal than almost all other sales events. Other than Black Friday, these sales are where you'll see the most choice of what's on offer and some of the lowest prices all year.

We've seen products from the best soundbars to the best grills discounted to around half their retail price, which is not a discount to be ignored.

When Is the Next Amazon Prime Day?

Amazon typically runs two Prime Days every year, one in July and one in October. In 2025, we had the first-ever four-day Prime Day from July 8-11, and the second event, called Prime Big Deal Days, ran from October 7-8.

It's similar to Black Friday (and occasionally, more fruitful), but where Amazon's Black Friday deals are open to everyone, you can only make the most of Amazon Prime Day deals if you're a Prime member. You can always start a 30-day free trial when Prime Day comes around and cancel it before the first payment comes out, to make the most of the deals.

Also, many other major retailers, including Walmart and Best Buy, tend to run their counter-sales around Amazon Prime Day, and you don't have to be a member to shop at those.

What is Amazon Renewed?

Amazon Renewed is a hub to find appliances and gadgets that have been refurbished and tested by qualified suppliers, offering goods for a fraction of their original price.

It's a great way to minimize e-waste, which is a growing concern worldwide. You can also find refurbished goods at Walmart Restored and Best Buy Outlet.

How Can I Prepare for an Amazon Sale?

Our tips on finding a good deal at Amazon include using comparison sites and doing your research beforehand, and you can still do this now that the event is up and running. The team at Amazon has its own dedicated suggestions on how to head into the sales.

Over at Amazon's Prime Day announcement page, you'll find some tips on how to prepare and make the most out of the massive sale event.

We also love keeping an eye on Amazon's Best Sellers list as it reflects popular items thousands of people are snapping up.

  • Available on the Amazon Shopping app in the US, Rufus is a new AI assistant designed to help save time and make more informed decisions when shopping. It uses information from product listings, reviews and community Q&As to recommend products, compare options, and help with current and past orders.
  • Alexa+ is Amazon's latest update to Alexa: a new personal assistant that uses generative AI to answer a whole host of queries from booking restaurant reservations to controlling your smart home. For Prime Day, it can be used to track discounts across the products or topics that you're interested in. If you have an Alexa device like the Amazon Echo Pop or Amazon Echo Dot, use it to your advantage when the sales arrive. Alexa+ is free if you're a Prime member.
  • Part of the new Alexa+ suite of AI features is Interests, which is software that can personalize lists of products based on your favorite interests using prompts. You can write 'Brewing tools and gadgets for coffee lovers' to browse highly-rated goods, or go as specific as 'I want something abstract or modern made of black metal, not canvas.'

Can I Get Alerts for Amazon Deals?

Yes. Download the Amazon Shopping app at Google or Apple and subscribe to deal notifications on items on your wish list.

Amazon Lightning Deals

Amazon Lightning Deals are flash sales that pop up around major sales periods. You're less likely to find small or large appliances in the Lightning Deals section – think more along the lines of skincare, make-up, and other impulse buys.

You can make Lightning Deals work for you by stocking up on a few inexpensive items to get you over the threshold for free delivery. So, if I were buying a $35 sheet set, but I needed to spend $40 to qualify for free delivery, I could shop the Lightning Deals section to pick up a few cheap favors. Anything from your essential cleaning toolkit would be perfect.
