With Turkey's star-studded attack already in their back pocket, the Socceroos defence are ready for what hosts the United States will throw at them.
Fresh off their stunning 2-0 win over Turkey, where the defence kept the likes of Kenan Yildiz and Arda Guler goalless, Australia have already turned their focus to their second match in Seattle on Friday (Saturday 0500 AEST).
The US put Paraguay to the sword, claiming a 4-1 victory, with Folarin Balogun scoring a brace.
"Every game like that, every nation here has their own threats," defender Cameron Burgess said.
"We're playing against a host nation with some tremendous talent in their squad - obviously only faced them a few months ago.
"We're gonna have to be ready for what they can bring, and I guess the same goes for them, they're gonna have to be ready for we can bring.
