SCOTLAND is preparing for the Group C opener against Haiti in Foxborough on Saturday as the national football team return to the big stage for the first time in 28 years.

While the Tartan Army are setting off across the pond, hundreds of thousands of fans remain at home and are getting ready to support the team from afar.

Dozens of fanzones have been organised across the country, with big screens, Saltires and extra kegs to keep every one going.

Here’s the 2026 World Cup fanzones and areas across Scotland that are currently advertised or announced as showing the games:

Glasgow

After a drought of more than two decades, this is Scotland’s third major tournament appearance in the space of five years. The European Championships in 2021 and 2024 did not go well for Clarke’s side, with two draws, four defeats and no victories from their six matches as they suffered group-stage exits on both occasions.
