RU:'He can have it': Beale happy to let Slips keep record

Kurtley Beale says he still has plenty of fire in the belly as he prepares to knock over another important milestone, but the Western Force veteran is more than happy to let James Slipper keep the Super Rugby games record.

Beale will move into outright third on the all-time Super Rugby games played list when he lines up for cap No.186 in Saturday night's must-win clash with the Fijian Drua in Perth.

Only the retired Wyatt Crockett (202) and current ACT Brumbies prop Slipper (209) sit above Beale in the games pecking order.

Beale's hot performance off the bench in last week's 19-14 win over the Queensland Reds proved the 37-year-old still has plenty to offer at the elite level.
