Mohamed Salah has returned to the Liverpool squad for his final Premier League away game as the Reds visit Aston Villa tonight.
Salah suffered a minor muscle injury in Liverpool’s 3-1 win over Crystal Palace at the end of April, raising concerns that he had played his last game for the club ahead of his summer exit.

However, the Reds issued a statement confirming the forward would return before the end of the season and Arne Slot revealed on Thursday that the Egyptian would be ready “for some minutes” at Villa Park. He starts on the bench in Birmingham as Rio Ngumoha and Cody Gakpo start on the flanks.
There was another boost issued by Slot that Alisson Becker was back in training after his nine-game lay-off with a hamstring problem, but he is not in the matchday squad here.
Alexander Isak is a surprise absence from the lineup.

Ibrahima Konate has overcome cramp to continue in central defence, but Florian Wirtz is on the bench after being poorly in midweek. Wataru Endo misses out.
