Grammy Award-winning artist named in new role at major London festival

  • The Grammy-winning artist will follow in the footsteps of other cultural figures in shaping the festival's line-up, including musician Self-Esteem.
  • Lipa, a vocal advocate for literacy who founded the Service95 Book Club, expressed that reading has 'anchored me through every chapter of my life'.
  • Her role will involve curating a series of events during the festival's opening weekend and throughout its entire 11-day run.
  • The festival forms part of the Southbank Centre’s 75th anniversary celebrations, which also feature Harry Styles curating the Meltdown festival.
