Ghana faced Austria and Germany in March as part of their preparations for the World Cup this summer.
The Black Stars qualified for World Cup 2026 at a canter but are set to encounter much trickier squads in the tournament than they did in qualifying.
They're in the middle pack when it comes to favourites for lifting the trophy, but with a host of top Premier League stars in their ranks, they must not be written off.
Ghana got to the quarter-finals in 2010, but since then have been unable to get out of the groups. They failed to qualify entirely for the 2018 edition entirely.
But in Antoine Semenyo and Mohammed Kudus, they have two players regarded among the best attackers in the Premier League, along with an experienced captain in Jordan Ayew.
They were without both Kudus and Ayew for the last two friendlies, however, with the former having been out with a thigh injury since January.
In Kamaldeen Sulemana and Abdul Fatawu, however, they have two developing talents who've been looking to prove themselves against tough opposition ahead of this summer's tournament.

Manager
Who is Ghana's manager?

Otto Addo was dismissed from his second spell in charge of Ghana in March and the first manager to take the Black Stars to two World Cups has now been replaced by former Manchester United assistant manager Carlos Queiroz ahead of World Cup 2026.
Queiroz has managed Portugal, South Africa, Iran, Colombia, Egypt, Iran, Qatar and Oman in an extensive international coaching career, and led Iran at the World Cup in 2022.
Star player
Who is Ghana's star player?

Antoine Semenyo has lit up the Premier League in the last 18 months. The new Manchester City signing excelled under Andoni Iraola at Bournemouth and kicked on immediately at the Etihad.
City reportedly paid £64m for his services, in a move that's already looking good value.
It will be 12 years since Ghana reached the quarter-finals of the 2014 World Cup and were cruelly denied a place in the semi-finals, but with Semenyo in the side there will be a renewed sense of optimism as they travel to north America.
