'Forza Horizon 6' Guide: Where to Find Tokyo City Treasure Hunt

The "Forza Horizon 6" Tokyo City Treasure Hunt is one of the final Spring season challenges in the Welcome to Japan Festival Playlist. As the seasonal lineup approaches its end, players are tasked with completing a series of objectives across Japan's vibrant map to earn exclusive rewards and credits.

This particular challenge has gained attention due to its hidden indoor navigation mechanic, making it more complex than standard treasure hunts.

What Is the Tokyo City Treasure Hunt in 'Forza Horizon 6'?

The Tokyo City Treasure Hunt is a seasonal challenge within the Welcome to Japan Festival Playlist. It tasks players with locating a hidden treasure chest inside a multi-level building in Tokyo City.

Unlike traditional treasure hunts that rely on open-world exploration, this challenge focuses on vertical navigation and interior driving mechanics, making it more puzzle-like than typical events.

The reward for completing the challenge is 100,000 credits, which contributes significantly to Festival Playlist progression.

Tokyo City Treasure Hunt Location in 'Forza Horizon 6'

The treasure hunt is located in Tokyo City, positioned near the lower-middle section of the map.

Once players arrive in the area, the key landmark to identify is a large multi-colored building labeled "Tomitama". The structure stands out due to its pink-toned base and elevated ramps surrounding the exterior.

This building acts as the main entry point for the challenge path.

How to Find the Treasure Chest

Step 1: Reach the Tomitama Building

Drive toward the multi-colored Tomitama building in Tokyo City and position the vehicle near the ramp entrance.

Step 2: Take the Exterior Ramp

Accelerate up the ramp attached to the side of the building and prepare for a small jump across to the next rooftop.

Step 3: Cross the Rooftop Section

After landing, continue driving across the rooftop and move toward the opposite side where another ramp leads downward.

Step 4: Enter the Interior Path

At a dip in the ramp, look for a large doorway on the right side. Enter this opening to access the interior section of the building.

Step 5: Navigate the Interior Walkway

Inside, drive carefully across the narrow central walkway that connects both sides of the structure.

Step 6: Exit and Find the Treasure Chest

Exit through the large door on the right side. The treasure chest will be located on the platform outside.

How to Complete the Challenge and Claim Rewards

Once the treasure chest is located, simply drive into it to complete the Tokyo City Treasure Hunt. The game will automatically reward 100,000 credits, which can be used for vehicle upgrades, tuning setups, or purchasing new cars in the Festival Playlist economy.

This challenge is part of the broader Spring seasonal progression, meaning completion also contributes toward unlocking higher-tier rewards in the playlist.

Spring Festival Playlist Rewards and Progression

The Spring season in the Welcome to Japan Festival Playlist features multiple challenges that contribute to overall progression. Completing treasure hunts, races, and seasonal events helps players unlock premium vehicles such as:

  • 1974 Toyota Corolla SR5

The Tokyo City Treasure Hunt plays a key role in boosting credit earnings while progressing toward these milestone rewards.

Why the Tokyo City Treasure Hunt is Sought-After

Unlike standard open-world treasure hunts, this challenge introduces indoor navigation and multi-level traversal, requiring players to carefully follow ramps, rooftops, and interior pathways.

This design encourages exploration of Tokyo City's vertical architecture, highlighting one of the most visually detailed areas in Forza Horizon 6. It also demonstrates how seasonal events are becoming more interactive and puzzle-driven.

Seasonal content in "Forza Horizon 6" continues to evolve with more structured challenges and location-based objectives.

The Tokyo City Treasure Hunt is only one of many surprises you will see in the game.
