Morocco looked impressive in their first game against Brazil, but Vinicius managed to bring it level with a beautiful goal. Switzerland also struggled against Qatar, despite being favourites to top their group. Scotland brought the vibes to their match against Haiti, and a deflected shot by McGuinn gave Scotland their first world cup win in 28 years. Unexpectedly, Australia won 2-0 against Turkiye.
