Airplane manufacturer Boeing and India's civil aviation minister Ram Mohan Naidu on Friday issued key statements as the country marks one year since the tragic Air India AI-171 crash in Ahmedabad, one of India's worst aviation disasters in recent decades.
"Our thoughts remain with the families & loved ones of those who lost their lives on flight 171, & with Air India & with everyone affected by this tragedy," Boeing said, as the company continues to support the investigation led by Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB).
