Leading the charge, "House of the Dragon" season 3 turns up the scorched-earth politics and dragon warfare. The vibes: Exactly what the title sounds like — a mash-up of “The Simpsons” and “Extreme Makeover.”
The plot: In this Disney+ exclusive double-episode, Homer and Marge’s date night spirals after Marge discovers Homer left the kids unsupervised, trusting only a doorbell camera as a babysitter. Fed up, a tipsy Marge imagines a trilogy of alternate Homers in increasingly absurd fantasies. Betty Gilpin guest stars, with musical appearances from Laufey and Tegan and Sara.

‘Alone: World Championship’ (History)
The vibes: “Alone,” but make it international.
The plot: For its 13th season, History’s hit survival show goes global, dropping 10 survivalists from seven countries into Canada’s Arctic Circle with just 10 tools and self-shooting camera gear. As winter closes in, they battle isolation, grizzlies, wolves and mental anguish for $500,000 and ultimate world bragging rights.

‘The Capture’ season 3 (Peacock)
The vibes: Truth is optional in a surveillance world.
The plot: Season 3 finds Rachel Carey (Holliday Grainger) trying to rebuild trust after exposing a deepfake scandal tied to a covert surveillance program. Now acting head of SO15, she backs a new camera initiative, until a coordinated attack leaves a lone witness. As Carey investigates, the conspiracy spreads through government, intelligence and media.

‘I Will Find You’ (Netflix)
The vibes: A murder that’s not a murder, a mystery that is truly mysterious.
The plot: Thriller master Harlan Coben’s latest Netflix series follows David Burroughs (Sam Worthington), a man serving life for his son’s murder — until evidence emerges that the child may be alive. He escapes prison and plunges into a labyrinth of deception, grief and buried secrets. Britt Lower and Milo Ventimiglia orbit the case as loyalties are tested.

‘Sugar’ season 2 (Apple TV)
The vibes: Smoky noir swirls together with existential sci-fi.
The plot: Colin Farrell returns as Los Angeles private investigator John Sugar, now pulled into a new case involving the missing older brother of a rising boxer. Meanwhile, his unresolved search for his own sister continues to haunt him. As the two investigations intertwine, Sugar is drawn into a sprawling, citywide conspiracy.

‘The Agency’ season 2 (Paramount+)
The vibes: Paranoia is a good look on Michael Fassbender.
The plot: Season 2 ramps up the pressure on Martian (Michael Fassbender), a CIA deep-cover operative whose undercover life is collapsing. Saving Samia (Jodie Turner-Smith), his political-prisoner lover in Sudan, may mean betraying his own agency. With Jeffrey Wright, Katherine Waterston, and Richard Gere are in the mix as tensions rise to a boil.
