FBI director Kash Patel has been accused of turning another work trip into a luxury date-night excursion. The 46-year-old allegedly flew with girlfriend Alexis Wilkins, 27, on the bureau’s Gulfstream V jet to a country music concert in May last year before returning later that same night. According to Daily Beast, Patel and Wilkins reportedly traveled from Washington to Philadelphia on May 10, 2025, to watch country singers George Strait and Chris Stapleton perform from a private suite that cost between $35,000 and $50,000.

Who is Alexis Wilkins?
Born on November 3, 1999, in Boston, Massachusetts, Alexis Wilkins is a country singer, political commentator, podcast host and writer currently based in Nashville. Wilkins was raised in Europe and Fayetteville, Arkansas, before building her music career in the US country music scene. She began singing at the age of four and released her first song, Higher Than the Mountains, at just eight years old.
Her debut single Holdin’ On crossed one million streams, while her 2023 EP Grit debuted at No. 4 on iTunes. How did Kash Patel meet Alexis Wilkins?
Kash Patel and Alexis Wilkins first crossed paths in late 2022 during a conservative ReAwaken America event in Nashville — a gathering known for political discussions, networking and rallies. According to reports, the two were initially introduced through mutual circles and bonded over public service and patriotism before their friendship gradually turned romantic.
Wilkins later told Megyn Kelly that they first connected at a friend’s house party, where Patel’s honesty immediately stood out to her. “We both are very patriotic, so obviously there are things there that we definitely agree on,” she said.
By January 2023, Kash Patel and Alexis Wilkins had officially started dating and began considering a future together. Wilkins later accompanied Patel to his Senate confirmation hearing, where she was seated beside him.
Speaking about their relationship during Kelly’s show in June 2025, Wilkins said, “We've been together a little over two and a half years... all of this was not on my bingo card, but here we are.”

She further added, “I feel like [within] a couple of minutes talking to me, you probably couldn’t picture me dating a 26-year-old. So it’s always made a lot of sense to us and our friends and everyone around us. And there’s really no need to justify things like that.”
Since going public, the couple has frequently appeared together at conservative political gatherings and public events. When asked about engagement or wedding plans, Wilkins said the couple is still adjusting to their fast-moving public life together.
