Not everyone you come across in the deserts of Far Far West is an enemy. There are NPCs with quests, side objectives, and more. Among them, you may encounter a Wandering Trader, allowing you to pick up a Joker or two for the run.
Here’s where to find the Wandering Trader in Far Far West, what she looks like, and what she’s for.

Where to find Wandering Trader in Far Far West

Wandering Trader appears on Normal-difficulty missions and above in Far Far West. She wanders around a specific area, and you can tell her apart by the giant bag on her back. Wandering Trader wields a shotgun and attacks other enemies. However, even though she can fight, Wandering Trader can’t die.
While you can randomly come across the Wanering Trader as you explore the map (try to follow the sounds of gunshots), there are a few ways to locate her faster:
- Chad Joker
- Well
The Chad Joker marks Wandering Trader’s position on the map and gives you a 20 percent discount on her wares. This Joker can drop from anything during a mission, and multiple copies stack, giving you an even bigger discount. If you come across a well, toss a coin into it for a chance to teleport the Wandering Trader to you. Other things you can get from the well include gold, souls, Fragments, a nuke, or even start a storm.
What is Wandering Trader for in Far Far West

When you find the Wandering Trader, you can buy a random Joker for 45 gold. These Jokers are temporary and only work in that run. Purchasing a Joker also doesn’t affect other players’ balance, so you don’t have to worry about robbing your teammates.
Apart from purchasing Jokers, there’s also a challenge tied to the Wandering Trader. If you trade with the Wandering Trader a total of 30 times, you can get the Wandering Trader skin.
To trade with the Wandering Trader, you need a decent amount of gold. Here are the main ways of earning gold during Far Far West runs:
- Side objectives
- Gold veins
- Gold goblins
- Chests
You can also combine the challenge with secret missions, like the medallion mission on the Canyon map. The medallion mission grants around 300 gold that you can spend on trading and unlocks the Pick Pick Joker for your weapon.
