The Hilton mattress uses an innerspring base and a plush Euro top to try and create a perfect blend of support and comfort. It's a design we see in many of the best mattresses you can buy online and this build is quintessential to the mattresses used by hotels.

What mattress does the Hilton use?
The Hilton US
In the US, Hilton hotels has partnered with sleep brand Serta to fit their extensive selection of properties with mattresses.
Custom designed for Hilton hotels, the mattress is a luxury hybrid innerspring. It uses a "unique internal design" to create stronger edge support. This extra support at the sides is also intended to prevent the edges from breaking down, extending longevity (a must when accommodating guests.)
Hilton doesn't dive into the details of this internal design but stronger edges should allow you to stretch out without feeling like you'll fall off the sides. In addition, it notes extra spinal support to prevent back ache.
This spring base is paired with a Euro pillow top that features an patented "innovative" quilt design for improved circulation and less night time restlessness.
The traditional design means the Hilton mattress is likely to have a bouncy, responsive feel. However, Hilton promises 'maximum motion absorption,' so you shouldn't be too disturbed by your partner's movements. (Some movement traveling is expected from even the best hybrid mattresses.)
This classic hotel design is designed to suit as many sleep styles as possible, with the cushioning adding pressure relief and the spring delivering support.
The Hilton hotel mattress is among the most affordable hotel beds — with a queen MSRP just $1,645 at Hilton to Home, it's at the lower price bracket of the best luxury mattresses. The Four Seasons mattress, in comparison, has an MSRP of $3,750 for a queen.
Hilton runs regular mattress sales, with discounts often up to 30%. This reduces a queen to $1,151.50 on its own or $1,291.50 with a box spring, for the total Hilton hotel experience (sans someone who comes and makes your bed.)
The benefits are bad: a 10-year warranty is on the short side for this price bracket, there's no trial and delivery can take upwards of six weeks. This is standard from a hotel brand, however — they don't off the extras we'd normally expect when shopping for a mattress online.
One final thing to note is that while Hilton to Home sells mattresses made by Serta, Tempur-Sealy Hospitality also has a Hilton hotel mattress collection (these beds aren't available for general sale.)

The Hilton EU
The Hilton mattress is also available to guests in Europe and it appears to have a similar design to its U.S.-equivalent. The coil base features reinforced edge support to prevent sagging while the plush top features multiple layers of foam comfort layers for pressure relief.
However, the Hilton EU mattress does appear to have a firmer feel and lacks the deep quilting of the U.S. design. As a result, we expect this mattress to better suit back and stomach sleepers (side sleepers might prefer a softer feel, to deliver more contouring at the shoulders and hips.)
Prices start at £1,165.50 for the Hilton Mattress at Hilton to Home Europe (€1,295) with a queen £1,615 (€1,795) without a base. With the base, a queen set comes to £2,115.50 (€2,395.) We recommend double checking the sizes before you buy.
Sales are rare but you might be able to snag a discount around the holidays. The Hilton mattress comes with a five-year warranty and an estimated six to eight week delivery period.
Shipping is not included in the cost and varies depending on destination, so make sure to double check the prices before ordering.

Buy the Hilton Hotel mattress if...
✅ You want a more affordable hotel mattress: The Hilton Hotel bed isn’t cheap but it's easier on the budget than most mattresses found in hotels and in the U.S., regular sales make it excellent value.
✅ You have back pain: The unique coil construction of the Hilton mattress promises superior support and combined with the quilted surface, we expect this bed to support the lumbar region to limit aches and pains.
✅ You share a bed: Promising a high level of motion isolation and a feel to suit a variety of sleep styles, this mattress is a good compromise for couples with different sleeping styles (although for the best motion absorption, make sure to add the box spring or base.)
Other considerations...
The biggest downside to the Hilton Hotel mattress is the poor benefits. While a 10-year warranty is average for a standard mattress, we’d expect more from this price bracket.
In addition, there’s no sleep trial. If you want to try the bed without committing, you’ll need to book a night in a Hilton Hotel.
Hilton also charges for delivery, while many of our favorite mattress brands offer this service for free. In the US, delivery will cost between $119.95 and $169.95, depending on the bed size, with an extra charge for shipping to Alaska or Hawaii. Outside the US, delivery costs vary depending on location.
However, it's worth noting the none of those features are particularly unusual for a hotel mattress sold via the brand. They tend to lack the benefits we take for granted from the best mattresses online.
