Masters London format explained
Like previous tournaments, Masters London uses two stages:
- Swiss Stage
- Playoffs
The Swiss stage has eight teams, and all will be playing best-of-three (BO3) matches, with the top four moving on while the bottom four get eliminated. In the Playoffs, those four teams join the four regional first seeds in a double-elimination bracket.
The Playoffs are mostly best-of-three, but the lower bracket final and grand final are best-of-five (BO5). Riot also confirmed that regional matchups are restricted in the opening Swiss draws, which should help spread out the bracket early.
