Vanessa Trump, the ex-wife of Donald Trump Jr , has announced she has been diagnosed with breast cancer .
She shared the news on Instagram on Wednesday, revealing she had undergone a medical procedure earlier in the week.
Ms Trump, 48, stated she is working closely with her medical team on a treatment plan and is staying focused and hopeful.
She thanked her doctors and asked for privacy as she concentrates on her health and recovery.
Ms Trump, who shares five children with Donald Trump Jr, is currently in a relationship with golfer Tiger Woods.
