Unexploded drone with 50kg of explosives removed from high-rise apartment in Ukraine after Russia strike

An unexploded drone that was lodged in a high-rise apartment in Ukraine was safely removed following a Russian strike.

Video shared by the State Emergency Service shows emergency workers defusing the device which was stuck on the 15th floor of a 24-story residential building in Odessa.

Potential catastrophe was averted as workers used a crane and heavy equipment to extract the drone, which contained more than 50kg of explosives.

Reuters verified the footage to be taken in the village of Chabany on 14 May.
