The quarter-finals of the FA Cup take place this weekend as club football returns following the international break.
Manchester City are through to the semi-finals once again after a 4-0 thrashing of Liverpool at the Etihad, as Erling Haaland scored a hat-trick to send the Carabao Cup winners back to Wembley for the second time this season.
Southampton, meanwhile, stunned Premier League leaders Arsenal as another trophy slipped away for Mikel Arteta’s side. Chelsea, though, were in a ruthless mood as they scored seven to end Port Vale’s cup run.
On Sunday, West Ham and Leeds put their Premier League survival aspirations on hold as they face each other for a semi-final spot at Wembley.
