- Trump declined to comment on ongoing negotiations with Iran but sharply criticized Iran’s call for young people to line up as human chains around power plants, which he’s threatened to bomb if Iran doesn’t open the Strait of Hormuz.
- “Totally illegal,” Trump said in a brief interview with NBC News. ‘They’re not allowed to do that.”
- Asked what motivated him to post this morning that “a whole civilization will die tonight,” he would only say: “You’ll have to figure that out.”
- Trump also wouldn’t say how he is feeling about the impasse with Iran, telling Fox News, “I can't tell you, because right now we're in heated negotiations.”
