Trump lashes out at Netanyahu in expletive-filled rant for jeopardizing Iran deal

  • President Donald Trump has lashed out at Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in an expletive-filled rant after Israel attacked Beirut, jeopardizing the United States’ peace deal with Iran .
  • In a post on Truth Social earlier today, the US president condemned the attack, stating it “should not have happened” and he urged both sides to “not blow it” as negotiations with Iran enter the final stages.
  • Trump later told Axios that the deal is still expected to be signed Sunday, stating, “It shook it up. It delayed the signing by a few hours. It was supposed to be now. Now it is scheduled for a few hours from now.”
  • He continued, “I couldn't believe it. An hour before we are supposed to sign the deal. Why did Bibi have to do a f***ing attack? I was so pissed off. I let him know. He has no f***ing judgement. I let him know that.”
  • The status of the deal remains unclear as Iran’s top negotiator said that the Israeli attacks in Beirut showed “the US either lacks the will to fulfill its commitments or the ability to do so.”
