- Trump later told Axios that the deal is still expected to be signed Sunday, stating, “It shook it up. It delayed the signing by a few hours. It was supposed to be now. Now it is scheduled for a few hours from now.”
- He continued, “I couldn't believe it. An hour before we are supposed to sign the deal. Why did Bibi have to do a f***ing attack? I was so pissed off. I let him know. He has no f***ing judgement. I let him know that.”
- The status of the deal remains unclear as Iran’s top negotiator said that the Israeli attacks in Beirut showed “the US either lacks the will to fulfill its commitments or the ability to do so.”
