Chelsea are interested in signing both Adam Wharton and Jarrod Bowen.
The Hammers are under pressure to part with their captain following their Premier League relegation.
According to the Independent, Chelsea are monitoring the situation and believe that a fee of £50million could be enough to tempt the Irons to sell.
Wharton is also a target, according to journalist Dean Jones, who reports that the Blues have scouted the Crystal Palace midfielder extensively.
Jones claims that interest in Wharton is not linked to Enzo Fernandez’s future - with the vice-captain keen to leave this summer - but rather an update on the likes of Romeo Lavia and Andrey Santos.

But fresh claims from TEAMtalk suggest that a mere £80m would force Villa's hand.
With Julian Alvarez likely to cost a club-record fee for Arsenal, surpassing the £105m Declan Rice cost, the Gunners could be looking at an outlay of more than £200m for the pair.
Arsenal make Julian Alvarez their dream target

Arsenal have made Atletico Madrid forward Julian Alvarez their dream signing this summer.
According to BBC Sport, Mikel Arteta will not rest on his laurels this summer, and has made a new striker and left-sided attacker two of his four transfer priorities.
And Alvarez is top of the list, despite stiff competition from both Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona.
The forward is expected to leave the Spanish capital this summer, two years after joining from Manchester City in a deal worth around £81million. It was Gunners’ sporting director, Andrea Berta, who negotiated that move a year before leaving Atleti for north London.
Alvarez still has four years to run on his current contract, and reportedly recently rejected the offer of an extension.
Arsenal last season reportedly weighed up a move for Alvarez before signing Viktor Gyokeres, but interest remains real heading into the summer transfer window.

Talking of Liverpool, the club have confirmed that Ibrahima Konate will leave this summer after failing to agree a contract extension with the club.
It emerged in April that the defender was closing in on an agreement with the club over a new deal, and Arne Slot himself said there was little more to do than “iron out” minor details.
However, new reports emerged last week suggesting negotiations had ground to a half, though, and Liverpool on Sunday confirmed Konate will move on when his deal expires on June 30.
A club statement read: “Konate will depart with our gratitude and appreciation for the contribution he made and everyone at the club wishes him the best for the future.”
Konate added in a statement of his own: “Representing this club has been an honour. We have shared incredible moments together… with highs and lows, trophies, challenges, lifelong friendships, and heartbreaking moments that will stay with us forever, none more painful than losing our brother Diogo.

Liverpool will open formal talks with Andoni Iraola this week as they seek to make a swift appointment to replace Arne Slot.
The Dutchman was sacked on Saturday just 12 months on from winning only the club’s second Premier League title in 30 years after a pitiful defence ended with them stumbling to a fifth-placed finish.
After a review of the campaign, beset first by the tragedy of the death of Diogo Jota in a car crash last July and then a serious of injuries which hampered the team’s performance to the extent they lost 19 matches and took two points from their last four league matches, owners Fenway Sports Group decided a change of direction was needed.
Iraola, who is leaving Bournemouth after guiding them to their highest league finish of sixth, securing a maiden European campaign, was identified as a front-runner and the Press Association understands an official approach will be made next week.
Liverpool’s sporting director Richard Hughes already has a relationship with the Spaniard, having appointed him at Bournemouth when he was in a similar role there.
It is understood Iraola, who is said to be keen on taking the job, has already spoken to Crystal Palace, Bayer Leverkusen and AC Milan.

According to widespread reporters, defensive pair Marcos Senesi and Andy Robertson are both set to sign on free transfers from July 1.
Bournemouth centre-back Senesi, 29, is said to have agreed a four‑year contract, while Robertson, 32, could be handed a shorter contract.
The pair will provide much-needed experience to Spurs’ ranks. Senesi could be a replacement for fellow Argentine Cristian Romero, who wants to leave.

Newcastle’s Sandro Tonali, Brighton's Carlos Baleba and West Ham's Mateus Fernandes have all been mooted as options for Manchester United’s second midfield signing.
Tonali is said to have a gentleman’s agreement with Newcastle to leave following the club’s failure to qualify for the Champions League.
According to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Newcastle want around £86m to sell Tonali but United would only be willing to fork out £70m.
There is reportedly confidence a compromise will be reached, especially with Chelsea now not expected to pursue interest in the Italian.
Baleba was pursued last summer, only for Brighton to stand firm on their £105m-plus asking price.
United are not expected to go anywhere near that figure this summer, and it remains to be seen if Brighton would lower their demands after underwhelming season for the player.
Fernandes will certainly be leaving West Ham this summer following West Ham’s relegation from the Premier League.
The Hammers must raise funds and Fernandes is one of very few players in the squad who will attract potential suitors.
Fernandes was expected to attract a similar fee to what Newcastle want for Tonali, but the West Ham’s hands has been significantly weakened.

Manchester United are confident of announcing their first summer signing this week.
With Michael Carrick now confirmed as the club’s permanent manager on a two-year deal, with the option of a further 12 months, work is already underway on improving his first-team squad.
Carrick’s priority is to replace Casemiro, who will leave at the end of the season after a rollercoaster four years at the club.
With the Brazilian’s eye-watering £350,000-a-week salary set to come off the wage bill, Carrick is expected to use the freed-up funds to sign two new midfielders.
The first is likely to be Atalanta midfielder Ederson.
According to widespread reports, a deal has been agreed with the former Chelsea target and a transfer to Old Trafford is now expected.

Arsenal have four targets in mind this summer, according to The Athletic's David Ornstein.
Despite spending almost £300million last summer, and then winning the Premier League, Mikel Arteta is in no mood to rest on his laurels, or leave the club kitty alone.
Minutes after Arsenal lost the Champions League final, Ornstein said on TNT Sports: "The number nine position is interesting. A penny for the thoughts of Victor Gyokeres tonight, his first season, and he helped them to this final and then was put on the bench.
"Then the left-sided attack is a big priority for them, and they’ve been looking at it for a few years, and I think they may be the summer where they really go for something. They’ve got the options there.
"They want a six/eight midfielder. They want to strengthen at right-back as well. So when you tally up what they’ve got to do, you could see that outlay in the market from last summer repeated or even exceeded."
