Tracy Shaw feeling ‘positive’ as she begins chemotherapy after cancer diagnosis

Coronation Street actor Tracy Shaw has provided an update on her breast cancer treatment after completing her first day of chemotherapy.
Shaw, who played Maxine Peacock in the ITV soap, had previously announced her breast cancer diagnosis on Instagram in April.
In her latest update on Wednesday (27 May), the 52-year-old actor shared that she was feeling "really positive" following the initial treatment.
She noted a side effect of chemotherapy, saying that everything she eats now tastes "horrible and like metal".
Shaw concluded her message by praising the "angel" nurses looking after her and sending love to others undergoing chemotherapy.
