
For the third straight year, Arizona basketball is back in the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament after defeating No. 9-seed Utah State on Sunday.
The Aggies put up a good fight, overcoming an 18-point deficit and pulling within four with just over five minutes left in the game.
The Bruins did not fare as well on Sunday, losing to No. 2-seed UConn.

Of the five teams competing on Thursday, only No. 13-seed Gonzaga survived, defeating 4-seed Kennesaw State.
Friday didn’t start much better, with Santa Clara losing to Kentucky amid several controversial calls that had X buzzing.
The Arizona Wildcats left no question, however, routing Long Island. Utah State beat Villanova and UCLA defeated UCF. Cal Baptist fell to Kansas in the nightcap.
On Saturday, Gonzaga was upset by Texas, eliminating one of the West’s most promising entrants.
The Wildcats will face No. 4 Arkansas on Thursday. The time and TV info appear below.
