The Premier League relegation battle will go down to the final day after Tottenham were beaten 2-1 by Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
A moment of magic from Enzo Fernandez gave the Blues the lead in the 18th minute as he struck from range after good work from Cole Palmer.
Andrey Santos then doubled Chelsea’s advantage after the break as he slid home from Fernandez’s cushioned pass.
Richarlison got a goal back for Spurs as he converted Pape Matar Sarr’s neat flick to set up a nervy finish.
Sam Tabuteau was at Stamford Bridge to rate the Spurs players...
Tottenham XI:
Antonin Kinsky 6
Retaining his place in the side, Kinsky did little wrong. There was not much he could do about Fernandez’s goal. Commanded the box well under pressure and made a smart stop from Palmer.
Micky van de Ven 6
Picked up a booking towards the end of the first-half for grappling with Delap, but on the whole dealt well with Chelsea’s attack and was the right side of aggressive in the tackle.
Kevin Danso 6
Handled Delap’s physicality excellently as the Chelsea striker toiled. Not much wrong with his performance, yet Spurs still conceded twice.
Spurs’ best player in the first-half, he put in a wicked delivery which Tel headed against the post. As he pushed centrally in search of the ball, Chelsea began to exploit the space he left in the right channel. Played an important role regardless.
Rodrigo Bentancur 7
Composed in possession, he turned out of pressure superbly and was both efficient and incisive with his passing.
Destiny Udogie 5
Kept getting dispossessed when trying to drive with the ball through the middle of the pitch. Booked for a foul on Fofana midway through the second-half before quickly being replaced by Spence.
Got wrapped up in the emotion against his former club and had to be given a talking to at the end of the first-half after a number of late tackles.
Joao Palhinha 5
Could not get up to speed with the rhythm of the game. Where Bentancur was calm with the ball at his feet, Palhinha was wasteful. Replaced as part of a triple change after Chelsea’s second goal.
Richarlison 6
Can never count the Brazilian out. Struggled for large periods but ultimately popped up with the goal that got Spurs back into the game.
Mathys Tel 5
Spurned the visitors’ best chance of the first-half when he hit the post. A frustrating game for the Frenchman, with Spurs’ wingers struggling to have an impact despite seeing plenty of the ball.
Randal Kolo Muani 5
His end product was desperately lacking despite getting into some good positions. Replaced by James Maddison as Spurs searched for more quality in the final third.

The Spurs bench were convinced he was going to draw them level as his shot was superbly blocked by Hato. Curled over a late free-kick as Spurs pressed for a leveller.
Pape Matar Sarr 7
Provided a lovely flick to set up Richarlison’s goal. Gave Spurs presence in the final third.
Djed Spence 6
Involved in the build-up to Richarlison’s goal by playing a sweeping ball that dropped kindly for Spurs’ attackers.
