A TikTok creator says she was physically attacked after she confronted a mother who allegedly left her children alone in a vehicle at a Kroger parking lot in Memphis. The creator, known as @jessie2quick, says she found three children and a crying toddler inside an SUV with no adult watching them.
It started after the creator finished putting her own two-year-old child into her vehicle. As per The Daily Dot, she heard a baby crying and saw two other children jumping between seats in a nearby SUV. After reportedly looking around and finding no adults, she apparently walked up to the vehicle to see if anyone was in charge.
According to the TikTok creator, the children told her their mother was inside the store, and they were five, seven, and two years old, with another infant crying in the back. The kids allegedly claimed their mother leaves them in the car all the time.
The creator’s account of how the confrontation unfolded outside the store
The creator said, worried about their safety, she flagged down a passing couple and asked them to tell store security. She hoped security could deal with the issue with the mother before things had to reach emergency services. Allegedly, no security staff came out to the parking lot.
She said that she stayed by the SUV for a while as the children moved around inside and the baby kept crying. Another woman, named Nikki, eventually came to help and called 911. The creator’s choice to stay echoes a popular TikTok trend about trusting your instincts in the moment.

The TikToker claimed that 15 minutes later a teenager came out of the store and told the women to leave the car alone. They apparently said they should not be speaking to her because she was a minor. Soon after, the children’s mother came out of the store.
The creator says the woman yelled at them to get away from her vehicle, then reached into her purse and allegedly slapped the creator, knocking her phone to the ground. The mother then drove away, reportedly hitting the creator in the arm with her vehicle as she left.

Per Jessie, law enforcement and National Guard members arrived at the scene after the incident, the latter being a presence Memphis has seen in other recent local incidents involving federal agencies. Apparently, the creator and Nikki gave full statements and video evidence to the officers. The creator said police told her a felony warrant had been issued for the woman, though the final legal outcome is still unclear.

The story has caused a wide range of reactions on TikTok. One viewer commented, “Baby god put you EXACTLY where you needed to be.” Another user said, “Look, I do not like these continuations. But I’m so invested. I’m gonna watch each and every goddamn one of them. Love this.” A third person said the children’s claim about being left alone often was a major concern, adding, “‘All the time’ was even more reason to call the police.”
