TARTAN Army fans have developed a "love fest" with their unofficial World Cup HQ in Rhode Island, according to the mayor of the state capital, Providence.
And the American city has revealed they have organised a series of events for the estimated 10,000-strong Scots set to arrive, including a "TA in the Park" gathering and a 'PVD FanZone - Summer of Soccer' area.
Scotland supporters are set to arrive next week in the USA to watch Steve Clarke's side in their first World Cup for 28 years.
When the draw revealed Scotland would play their first two games against Haiti and Morocco in Boston, thousands of Tartan Army members opted to stay in the New England city of Providence - around 20 miles south of the Gillette Stadium venue - due to the extortionate costs of accommodation in Massachusetts.
And the mayor of Providence has admitted they have already taken the Scots to their hearts before they even get there, after organising events.
Scotland fans have also donated $10,000 to the local Hasbro Children's Hospital ahead of their visit.
Providence Mayor Brett Smiley said: "The relationship between Providence and the Scots is a little bit of a love fest.
"They have various activities planned in Providence during the tournament, including a parade, kilts and bagpipes and all, where they come through downtown Providence into the fan zone.
"There's going to be a jumbotron. We're going to broadcast every game, not just the ones in Foxborough, but every game.
"And then often in between games there's going to be DJ sets and live music and other opportunities to showcase Providence's talent on that stage.
"There's a beer garden that's being built. There'll be Rhode Island-based food trucks along with other activities and installations for kids, so that it really can be a place for everyone.
"Providence police have been working closely with Rhode Island State Police, the Rhode Island Department of Emergency Management, for about a year at this point."
Providence has arranged for a "Tartan Army Block Party" on the day of the first game against Haiti and a "Scotland Watch Party" event.
The "TA in the Park" occasion will be on March 18 and is set to feature a 'fans march and gathering and live entertainment featuring traditional pipe bands, Scottish bands and live cultural music.'
