Stacey Dooley gives cropped jeans a spring-ready feel with this trending boot style

Stacey Dooley .

We’re always looking for ways to refresh our jeans, and Stacey Dooley’s western-inspired styling offers a polished, yet casual twist that will make any denim look feel more contemporary this spring.

Enjoying the Australian sunshine in Sydney, Stacey played into the bright, sunny weather by wearing a simple, grey t-shirt and a pair of lightwash denim jeans. Her worn, washed denims had a flattering high waist and cropped legs, making them the perfect style to pair with tall boots, which is exactly what she did, slipping into a pair of brown, western knee-highs.

A chunky sole, squared-off toe and statement buckle detailing at the ankle refined her rodeo-style, and Stacey complemented her shoes with a wide-brimmed hat that leant into her bohemian, western style.

Recreate Stacey Dooley's Western Style

Western-inspired footwear is one of the many spring/summer shoe trends for 2026, and Stacey Dooley delivers a masterclass in how to wear it for spring.

Her boots give an entirely fresh feel to her simple cropped jeans and t-shirt combination, and are a contemporary replacement for your best white trainers, especially whilst the weather remains cool.

Highlighting the western feel of her boots with a wide-brimmed hat, her outfit feels cohesive. While cropped jeans can feel a little tricky to wear, styling them with a boot brings them up-to-date and makes them spring-weather-ready, too.
