Six people stabbed in hours after Arsenal’s Premier League victory parade

  • Metropolitan Police are investigating six stabbings that occurred after the Arsenal Champions Parade in London on Sunday.
  • A total of 24 people were arrested during the event, which saw over 500 officers deployed, for offences including assaulting police, sexual assault, and grievous bodily harm.
  • One man in his twenties was hospitalised in a life-threatening condition following a stabbing, though he is now stable; most other stabbing victims were not seriously injured.
  • Incidents also included damage to four police vans and the London Fire Brigade rescuing approximately 75 individuals from elevated positions.
  • Police thanked the majority of fans for celebrating responsibly but noted "pockets of anti-social behaviour" and "gang-related incidents" as crowds dispersed.
