How to complete Satyrical Theater in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Gather resources for Goofy
To get this quest moving, Phil first tasks you with gathering some key resources for Goofy, who is helping him bring his vision to life. The items you need to work on getting include:
- 10 Stone – Obtained by mining rock nodes in any biome, including the valley and DLC worlds like Storybook Vale or Wishblossom Ranch . You can also sometimes find it available for purchase at Kristoff’s stall, can get some from breaking small and big stone obstacles, and may sometimes encounter Stone when digging around Glamour Gulch.
- 10 Softwood – Can be found on the ground around trees in certain biomes, including the Plaza, Peaceful Meadow, Forest of Valor, Glade of Trust, and all areas within Ancient’s Landing. Softwood also drops from small and large tree trunk obstacles, and Kristoff also occasionally has some to buy at his stall.
- Five Sand – Can be found by digging the ground in Dazzle Beach, the Glittering Dunes, and Glamour Gulch. You may also find this resource when clearing small and large coral obstacles, and available for purchase sometimes at Kristoff’s stall.
- Five Seaweed – Can be found by fishing in open water anywhere in the main valley or throughout the Wild Tangle area. You can also turn Red Algae into Seaweed at any crafting station.
Once you’ve got all of the required supplies, meet up and chat with Goofy to hand them over. He’s now got everything he needs to make Phil a stage, so he sends you on your way to the next stop Phil has planned for you.
Talk to Remy
Phil needs an edible prop for the play, so he’s enlisted the assistance of one of the valley’s finest chefs. Track down Remy and chat with him to start a conversation with both him and Phil about how you can help.
Cook the Greek Pizza
Remy helps you land on a dish for Phil, but he’s needed at the restaurant, so it’s up to you to actually cook it. The recipe you need to make for Phil here is Greek Pizza, which calls for:
- Tomato
- Onion
- Wheat
- Cheese
- Any Spice
Toss these five key ingredients together at any cooking station to successfully cook up the five-star meal. Then, head to the house Phil shares with Hercules to deliver it.
Talk to Scrooge McDuck
Next, Phil is in search of a very particular actor for one of the roles in his mysterious production. He asks you to check in with Scrooge McDuck to see if he’s up for the task, so track down and chat with Scrooge to see what he thinks.
Find the two Drama Masks
With most of the cast now figured out, Phil puts you in charge of gathering some decorations for the stage. Head back into the Hercules Realm to start hunting for two Drama Masks lost within the Realm.
Phil doesn’t give you any clues at all to work with, and the Hercules Realm is quite large, so finding these two small items can be tricky. Luckily, they’re in the same spots for everyone, so once you know where to look, you’ll find them in no time.
The first Drama Mask, which is the Mask of Comedy, can be found close to the base of the large stone pillar on your right as soon as you enter the Realm. The second Drama Mask, also known as the Mask of Tragedy, is underneath the tree on the left side of the pond by the large waterfall, close to where you previously gathered some offerings in the clearing during the Moonlighting as a Hero quest.

Once both Drama Masks have been acquired, head back to the valley to move on to Phil’s next mission for you, which is a large crafting project.
Gather resources to craft a Training Mannequin
Next, Phil needs you to gather the supplies required to craft him a Training Mannequin. All of the resources you need to get this task done are as follows.
- Five Hardwood – Can be found on the ground around trees in some biomes, including Sunlit Plateau, Forest of Valor, Glade of Trust, and Frosted Heights. Hardwood also spawns around a singular DLC world location, which is Pixie Acres.
- Three Red Bell Flowers – Can be found growing in the wild around the Forest of Valor.
- Three Red Falling Penstemon – Can be found growing in the wild around the Plaza.
Once you’ve got the materials you need, head to any crafting station, select the Phil quest icon, and craft the Training Mannequin he needs. Then, go to Phil’s house to chat with him about your progress.
Add decorations to the stage
The show is just about ready to go, but there are a few last-minute tasks you have to check off before it can begin. First, you need to decorate the stage. To do so, approach the back wall of Phil’s house and interact with the sparkles there to add the Training Mannequin and Drama Masks to the stage.
Bring a Theatrical Invitation to some villagers
Since this is Phil’s first show, he wants to keep the audience small, so he asks you to deliver a Theatrical Invitation to three villagers. Track down Merlin, Mickey Mouse, and Remy to invite them to attend. Once the invitations are delivered, head back to Phil’s house and talk to Scrooge McDuck to start the play.
Free Phil from the cage
With some last-minute changes to the script, you end up being the star of the show, which means you’re the hero navigating through it. At the end of your performance, you have to free Phil from the cage, so equip your Royal Pickaxe and swing at it to make this happen. Chat with Phil once he’s free to officially complete the Satyrical Theater quest.
