Rangers will not take up their option to sign Andreas Skov Olsen on a permanent deal this summer.
The Denmark international joined the Ibrox side on loan from Wolfsburg during the January transfer window, with Rangers holding first refusal on a permanent move at the end of the season. However, the club has now decided against triggering that option.
Per The Rangers Review, head coach Danny Rohl will not pursue a deal for Skov Olsen as he weighs up his priorities ahead of the summer transfer window. The winger remains under contract with Wolfsburg and will now assess his next move.

The 26-year-old arrived as Rangers’ headline winter signing, alongside Tuur Rommens, Tochi Chukwuani and Ryan Naderi, as Rohl received backing in the market.
A fee of around £9 million had been agreed for a permanent transfer, but Rangers have opted not to proceed after Skov Olsen scored one goal and provided three assists in eight Premiership appearances.
Chairman Andrew Cavenagh will sanction another significant spend over the coming months as Rohl is given the chance to make his mark on the Ibrox squad.
