  • Pop star PinkPantheress, whose real name is Victoria Walker, revealed at a concert in Manchester that she was rejected from appearing on the BBC One quiz show Pointless .
  • The 25-year-old singer, known for hits like “Illegal”, had reached the final stage of the application process for the civilian version of the programme.
  • Producers ultimately prevented her from participating before filming began, informing her that she was “too famous” to be a contestant.
  • Walker, who has won a Brit award and played Glastonbury, expressed her disappointment, stating she even offered to donate any potential winnings to charity and wanted to meet host Alexander Armstrong.
