Police appeal after violence breaks out at London Bridge station

British Transport Police would like to speak to five men following an incident of violent disorder at London Bridge - (BTP)

Police have released images of five men they would like to speak to after violent disorder broke out at a Tube station.

Officers from British Transport Police (BTP) were called to London Bridge station just before midnight on Monday, May 11, following reports of fighting on the platform.

“Most of those involved had left the station in the direction of Tooley Street prior to police arrival,” a spokesperson for BTP said.

“It's believed the men are football fans who had been watching the Championship Play-Off Semi-Final in a nearby pub.”

Detectives believe the men pictured may have information that could help the investigation.

Anyone who recognises them is asked to text BTP on 61016, or call 0800 40 50 40, using the reference 753 of 11 May.

Information can be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
