One of the biggest stories this offseason already has been the return of former Seattle Seahawks head coach to the NFL, Pete Carroll. Last week, Carroll was announced as the next head coach for the Las Vegas Raiders. The 73-year-old had been out of football for a year but now he is back and ready for perhaps his greatest challenge yet.
On Monday, Carroll was officially introduced by the franchise as their next head coach. I must admit, it is a little odd to see Carroll in black and silver.

Thereâs a random fan here at the Pete Carroll introductory press conference that broke into a Raiders chant.
He looks pretty familiar, seems to be a fan of the #Raiders new head coach. pic.twitter.com/QrbrCqkyXb

Speculation about what Carroll can and will do for the Raiders is sure to begin immediately, if it hasnât already. The biggest question of course is what will Carroll do at quarterback? Of course, one option folks seem to pointing at as a logical choice would be Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith, assuming some sort of extension could not be worked out. Smith has already shared cryptic images of him with Carroll on his social media in relation to the news of his hiring.
Whatever may be the case, Seahawks Wire will have you covered on all things related to this story.
