'One by one': Another US jet shot down by Iran, crashes into Hormuz; watch

Iran downed another US jet A-10 which crashed into the Strait of Hormuz right after it shot down F-15E. Iranian embassy in South Africa shared a footage of the incident on X and jibed, "you not watching a repeated movie."

"These days, you see these scenes a lot. You are not watching a repeated movie. It’s the American fighter jets that are being shot down one by one. It was a A-10 Jet this time," it said.

The US air force combat aircraft crashed in the Persian Gulf region on Friday, with its lone pilot rescued safely, NYT reported citing two American.

The Fairchild Republic A-10 Thunderbolt II went down near the Strait of Hormuz around the same time an McDonnell Douglas F-15E Strike Eagle was shot down over Iran, the officials said.

Authorities have shared limited details about the A-10 crash, including the circumstances and exact location.

In the earlier incident, one crew member was rescued, while search-and-rescue teams are still trying to locate the second pilot.
