MHT CET PCM answer key: Check how to download from cetcell.mahacet.org, steps to challenge and price per question

The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell, Maharashtra, is set to release the MHT CET 2026 Session 1 provisional answer key for the PCM group today. The PCM examination was conducted from April 11 to April 20, 2026.

Along with the provisional answer key, the authorities will also release the response sheet and question paper, while activating the objection window for candidates. Students will be able to access these documents through the CET login portal at cetcell.mahacet.org.

Reports suggest that the answer key may be released after 2 PM, although it could also be published later in the evening.

Candidates can raise objections till May 22

The provisional answer key will contain the correct answers to questions asked in the examination, while the response sheet will display the answers marked by candidates during the test.

Since the key is provisional, candidates will have the option to challenge answers they believe are incorrect. The objection window for the MHT CET 2026 PCM answer key will remain open till May 22.

To raise objections, candidates must submit supporting proof and pay a fee of Rs 1,000 per question challenged. The Maharashtra CET Cell has stated that objections submitted without valid supporting documents will not be accepted.

Steps to check MHT CET answer key

Candidates can download the MHT CET answer key by following these steps:

  • Visit MHT CET official website
  • Click on the candidate login option
  • Enter the registered email ID and password
  • View the answer key, response sheet and question paper on the screen
  • How candidates can calculate expected scores

Students can estimate their probable scores using the answer key and response sheet by comparing their marked responses with the official answers.

Candidates should award themselves one mark for every correct answer in Physics and Chemistry, and two marks for every correct answer in Mathematics. The combined total will indicate the expected score.
