Megyn Kelly has slammed Donald Trump for his “disgusting” social media threats to Iran.
On Tuesday (7 April), the US president said on TruthSocial that he would wipe out a “whole civilisation” if Tehran failed to reopen the Strait of Hormuz. Following his threats, a two-week ceasefire deal was announced.
Speaking on The Megyn Kelly Show, the conservative commentator blasted Mr Trump’s “irresponsible and disgusting” comments. “Can’t he just behave like a normal human?”
“You don’t threaten to wipe out an entire civilization. We’re talking about civilians, just casually in a social media post.”
