A MAN wearing only his underpants is on the run from police

Shortly before 10am Wednesday June 3, police officers from Tuggerah Lakes went to an Ourimbah home on the Pacific Highway to arrest a man over alleged break and enter offences.

As officers approached the property, they said a man ran from location into nearby bushland.

Police have now released a description of the man they are looking for.

He is described as of caucasian appearance and roughly 30 to 40 years old, standing about 165 centimetres tall with a slim build and short brown hair.

He was last seen wearing only underpants, police said.
