Kerry Katona has delivered her scathing verdict on her close friend Katie Price’s husband Lee Andrews’ disappearance.
Price said on Wednesday that she is “giving up the search” for Andrews a week after he vanished, despite previously sharing fears he’d been kidnapped at the Dubai border while trying to get to the UK.
Now, Katona - who previously accused Andrews of punching her boyfriend - said she wished Price had remained single and joked there could be a Netflix show about Andrews’ disappearance.
“As I write this, we're still no closer to figuring out what's happened to Lee Andrews, Katie Price's husband who's been missing in Dubai,” she wrote in her column for new! magazine.
“I can't comment on the ins and outs of this because the tour's in full throttle and it's really hard to keep up with all the drama. It's not a nice situation for anyone involved, let alone Kate and Lee's family.
“I wish she'd stayed bloody single after things ended with JJ. But love is blind!”
She added: “Now we'll just wait for the Netflix series to come out – working title: ‘Where's Wally?’”
The former Atomic Kitten singer unfollowed Andrews on social media last month after he allegedly punched her boyfriend Paolo Margaglione in Dubai in February when the couple flew out to meet Price and Andrews.
He was accused of hitting Margaglione after Margaglione stepped in over the businessman’s “aggressive” tone when speaking to Price.
Price later denied the incident took place and claimed Katona and Margaglione will be “special guests” at their second wedding when they return to the UK.
Price - who married Andrews in January just days after meeting him - said they last spoke last Wednesday night as he tried to leave Dubai to fly to the UK to meet her for their joint GMB interview and has been unable to reach him since.
The mother-of-five, 47, has since claimed that she believes her husband was detained at the Dubai border and kidnapped.
On Tuesday evening, the former I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! star shared the last text messages she said she had received from Andrews’ phone.
One message read: “Been arrested, I’ll be in touch I’m ok xx," but then, in another message, Andrews seemingly claimed he had not been arrested at all.
Instead, the businessman, who has faced accusations of being a conman, apparently claimed he had been bundled into a van and taken to an unknown location.
According to The Sun, he wrote: “It’s a black site, I love you, I sort it. I’m in the van… just being detained wtf.”
He reportedly asked Price to keep tracking his live location, saying: “Keep that on babe love you.”
She had previously said when she spoke to him on Wednesday he had said he “ties around his hands and was in a van” and his location tracker subsequently went off.
The first text message was reportedly sent at 12.36am, and the last, in which he claimed he was “being detained” arrived at 1.01am.
It was reported on Monday that Andrews’ family had filed a missing persons report at the British Embassy in Dubai.
A Foreign Office spokesperson said: “We are supporting the family of a British man and are in contact with the local authorities.”
Andrews has faced accusations he is a conman and Price's family have shared their fears about her whirlwind relationship with him in the past.
He has been branded a “liar and a narcissist” by two of his exes.
He has strenuously denied the conman claims along with claims he is unable to leave the United Arab Emirates due to a travel ban.
Andrews was reportedly banned from leaving Dubai after allegedly spending three weeks in a UAE jail over claims he forged an ex-girlfriend’s signature to secure a £200,000 loan, according to the Mail.
It was also alleged that he applied for a mortgage in his ex’s name without her consent. Andrews has denied the claims.
