Katie Price 'plotting her revenge' on Lee Andrews as friends say she has 'had enough'

Katie Price is reportedly gearing up for revenge on her husband Lee Andrews as he remains in prison in Dubai.

Andrews failed to attend their Good Morning Britain appearance in the UK last month and went missing for several weeks.

Price - who married Andrews in January just days after meeting him - launched an international appeal to find him during that time, while friends and family shared their concerns that she had been duped.

It was later revealed he had been arrested on reported fraud allegations last month and faces an apparent £140,000 fine to be released from Dubai Al-Awir Central Prison.

He admitted to Price when she visited him in jail that he has a travel ban and can’t fly to the UK, despite previously claiming he was at the airport, and also faced questions for seemingly following another women on Instagram.

Now, friends close to Price have claimed she has “had enough” and is “plotting her revenge” on the self-proclaimed millionaire.

“No one does revenge like Katie Price. Believe me, she’s plotting and planning,” a source told OK! magazine.

“She is heartbroken. She’s still in love and she can’t get Lee out of her system. He’s got under her skin. But she wants everyone to know what she’s been through, and then you’ll see her rise like a phoenix.”

The insider added that she plans to reveal all of Andrews’ ex Dina Taji’s revelations from their recent meet-up, stating: “Katie is hurt, and when a man hurts her she doesn’t let it lie. She’s spoken with his ex, and she’s going to release the footage and tell the truth.”

The Standard has contacted Price’s representative for comment.

Price said her doubts about Andrews were heightened when she met Taji, who warned her “face-to-face” about him while they filmed an episode for her podcast in Dubai.

Taji accused him of taking out a £200,000 mortgage in her name without her knowledge shortly after they married - something he denies.

She reportedly took legal action against Andrews, leading to him spending three weeks in a Dubai jail and being hit with a travel ban.

After their meeting, Price said: “My eyes have been opened. I just need some time to think. I still cannot end things with Lee until I’ve spoken to him, but that was a lot.”

She returned to the UK this week after visiting him in prison last week.

Price said she was willing to spend £6,500 to release Andrews from jail after allegedly being told that was the fee required - but has since been told the sum is actually £140,000 because Andrews is reportedly involved in another case awaiting a court date, this time relating to property.

He has apparently asked his wife to set up a GoFundMe to raise the money for his release, to which Price said: “No-one will do that for you, Lee, trust me. Everyone hates you.”

She told The Sun she will “never” give him any money, having recently said she will end the marriage if he doesn’t give the answers she want when they meet in person.

“I've made it clear to Lee, I will never give him money, I'll never give a man money, I've done it all my life, I've always been the breadwinner. My divorces, I'm the one that always has to give. I said to Lee I'll never do it,” she said.

Price added that she doesn’t feel she’ll be scammed by him as she is “protected by the nation”.

The previously bankrupt star also maintained that Andrews will be released from prison “next week”.

“He is coming out, I can't wait to see him, can't wait to have our chats, and he should be out next week, but knowing that, knowing what prisons are like even in England, you never know,” she claimed.

Andrews was detained for a “private civil matter” last month but insisted to Price that he was kidnapped on suspicion of espionage.

He told Price he had been “bundled into a van” with his hands tied at the Dubai border and taken to a so-called “black site” while attempting to fly to London.

After he was located behind bars, Price said Andrews had been shocked to discover he had become “the most hated man in prison” as his disappearance sparked widespread speculation online.

Sources claimed three-time divorcee Price feels “confused” over Andrews’ actions and fears she will be “heading to the divorce court again”.

“Katie is in pieces. To the outside world she wants to keep up the bravado. But inside she can't believe how Lee has made her look,” a source told the Daily Mail.

“He's pulled the wool over lots of people's eyes – especially women. And now, as it's all being played out in the public eye, she's at the forefront of the con.”
