Jet2 makes promise to British holidaymakers amid worries over jet fuel shortage

  • Jet2 has reassured customers that summer holidays will proceed as normal, stating that the “only oil you need to worry about is your sun oil”.
  • The UK's third-largest airline confirmed it has sufficient fuel and will not impose surcharges on any booked flights or holidays.
  • This positive outlook is attributed to “positive updates” from fuel suppliers, indicating increased production and additional imports from areas unaffected by the Middle East conflict.
  • Demand for holidays to popular destinations including the Balearics, Canaries, Turkey , and Greece is expected to grow throughout the summer season.
