Jersey Shore star JWoww slams trolls saying she looks ‘deathly sick’ in new swimsuit photo

Jersey Shore star Jenni Farley has responded to unkind comments she’s seen about her body online.

On Sunday, the 41-year-old reality star, who has been on the hit reality show since its 2009 inception, posted a picture of herself on Instagram wearing a black one-piece swimsuit and lounging on a porch bench.

However, only a few days after she shared the photo, Farley — who goes by the nickname “JWoww”— learned that online trolls were criticizing her appearance.

“Of course, I open my emails, and I get a Google alert that says, ‘JWoww, deathly sick,’ or something like that because I lose weight,” she said Tuesday in an Instagram video. “I don’t even know what to say. A girl can never win. You gain weight, you’re a fat piece of s***. You lose weight, you must be dying of some sort of horrendous disease.

“I love when people are like, ‘Oh my God, you look so good’ when you lose weight,” she continued. “But then if you gain it, the five to 10 pounds, the silence is deafening because those same people that like you at your skinniest won’t say anything when you gain weight.”

She said that even though she’s been working out, her weight fluctuated after she “got really sick” following a recent trip to Miami.

“I lost weight. I'm a female. I’m 41. I really don't know what else to say,” Farley added. “I didn't do it on purpose. It’s not gonna last because it never does, especially when you’re a woman in your Forties. I probably will gain 10 pounds by the end of the summer, and then I’ll get a new article that says ‘you fat b****’ or something of that extent, or ‘Oh my God, she gained weight, is she pregnant?’

“This is just a small dose of what it’s like being a female in this day and age. But I hope I’m not dying, damn, that would suck,” she quipped.

Farley continued: “I’m sorry you guys are seeing me in shorts and a bathing suit when you haven’t in five years. The irony is, I haven’t worn one publicly because you guys criticize. If I wear a bathing suit and I’m at 150 pounds. It’s ‘Holy God, she’s a fat whatever’ but if I wear a bathing suit now at 135 pounds.’ It’s ‘Oh my god, she must be sick. Is she okay?’...How about we just change the narrative?”

She poked fun at the criticism about her looks in the caption, writing: “PSA because I am sick and dying.”

Fans and fellow Jersey Shore stars showed their support for Farley in the comments, with her close friend and reality star Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola writing: “Keep shining.”

“Haters will hate. Keep doing you—you’re stunning no matter what!” another fan wrote, while a third added: “Love you queen! Thank you for speaking facts!”

Farley rose to fame in 2009 on Jersey Shore, which followed eight cast members in one vacation home and ran for six seasons. She has since appeared in multiple spin-offs for the franchise, including Snooki & Jwoww and Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, which is ending this year after eight seasons.
