A 45-year-old Indian woman was shot and killed at the supermarket in Virginia where she had been working for years. The killing of Meghnaben Patel in the morning of May 23, who was originally from India's Gujarat, was caught on CCTV inside the store. In the video, the attacker with his face covered could be seen approaching the counter where Meghnaben Patel was working. After a short while, the man put his hands in his pockets and pulled out a gun, and shot her. The shooter then scattered some items around the store as he fired multiple shots and fled.
