Eligibility criteria and exemptions
While appearing for the CSEET is compulsory for most candidates seeking registration in the CS Executive programme, the ICSI has granted exemptions to certain categories of applicants.
Candidates who have already cleared the ICSI Foundation Examination, CA Final examination conducted by ICAI, or CMA Final examination conducted by ICMAI are exempted from appearing for the entrance test.
The institute has also exempted candidates holding a Bachelor’s or Postgraduate degree in any discipline. Students currently studying in the final semester of their Bachelor’s degree are similarly eligible to bypass the CSEET and directly register for the CS Executive programme.
Exam day guidelines for candidates
ICSI has stated that candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination hall without a printed copy of the CSEET June 2026 admit card.
Candidates must also carry a valid photo identity proof such as Aadhaar card, PAN card, Voter ID or Passport along with the hall ticket.
Applicants have further been advised to reach their designated examination centres at least 30 to 45 minutes before the scheduled reporting time to complete verification procedures smoothly.
For further updates and examination-related information, candidates have been advised to regularly check the official ICSI website.
