Rangers legend Ian Durrant has urged his former club to sign players who are "worthy" of wearing the jersey, ahead of a busy summer at Ibrox.
So far, Danny Rohl has secured the signature of ex-Hearts captain Lawrence Shankland, with more signings expected in the coming months.

Durrant, who made 346 appearances in all competitions for the club, hopes that Rangers can adequately strengthen their squad, as they look to progress under Rohl. "It’s always nice to think now you can get Scottish players," he said, regarding a homegrown core at Ibrox. [Sky Sports]

"If they’re good enough, then the players that the manager and the coaching staff want to bring in, I’m sure they’ll be adequate. You’d love to think now you can get all the Scottish players, but if they’re about, then hopefully we can go and get them.
The manager, his staff, and recruitment team will be looking at players to try and bolster the squad, because they’ve lost a lot of players there, in terms of the loan deals.
"So whoever comes in, they ought to make sure that they’re worthy of getting a Rangers jersey."
