Hull and Middlesbrough set for Championship play-off final after spygate scandal

  • Middlesbrough secured their place in the final after Southampton were expelled from the play-offs for admitting to spying on opponents and other clubs during the season, with their appeal against the sanction failing.
  • The final will take place at Wembley Stadium on Saturday, 23 May, with kick-off scheduled for 3: 30pm BST, an hour earlier than originally planned.
  • Viewers in the United Kingdom can watch the match live on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Football, with coverage beginning at 2: 30pm BST, and a live stream available via Sky Go and NOW.
  • Middlesbrough might be without Tommy Conway due to an ankle injury, though Hayden Hackney could return, while Hull City's Kyle Joseph is absent after surgery, making Mohamed Belloumi a probable starter.
