How to passively make money in Forza Horizon 6

The best passive money farm in Forza Horizon 6 uses AutoDrive on The Colossus circuit with a Credit Boost Forza Edition car like the Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro Forza Edition or Wuling Forza Edition.

This is not the fastest active Credit farm in the game, but it is one of the easiest low-effort methods if you want to earn money while not even touching the game.

How much Credits does this method make?

Around 140,000 every 6 minutes with the VIP Pass, and half of that without.

The method involves using the newly-added Auto Drive feature while racing on the Colossus circuit, which only becomes available after unlocking Legend Island. You can follow our guide to do that as quickly as possible.

In the event menu, you should pick the Rivals option and choose the fastest available rival from the list. After the race starts, simply enable the Auto Drive, which will continuously drive around the circuit, because the Rivals event does not end automatically unless you beat your Rival’s time, which is impossible in this setup. The more laps you complete, the more the final payout will be.

There are two viable options for this money farming method: the Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro Forza Edition and the Wuling Sunshine S Forza Edition, neither of which you can simply purchase in the game. Both cars have a built-in bonus toward the earned Credits, so both are invaluable in this process.

The Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro Forza Edition is only available with the game’s Premium Edition or if someone lists it on the Auction. Keep in mind, though, that the car is heavily in demand and gets bought out outright immediately, so be quick if you notice one on sale.

The Wuling Sunshine S Forza Edition is only available through Wheelspins and Super Wheelspins, so getting one is a fairly luck-based affair, though the drop rate seems to be reasonable. Just like the Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro Forza Edition, it can also be purchased through the Auction with the same buy-out caveat.

The Colossus race in Rivals is an R-Class 998 PI one, so upgrade both cars to have as much top speed as possible. Wuling is a better option overall, but use whichever of the two you have access to.

Preparation for passive money farming in Forza Horizon 6

Before you start raking in the cash, there’s the final bit of preparation to be done: difficulty tuning. Since the Auto Drive feature does not use any assists and is simply driving flawlessly, you should disable all the assists and increase the difficulty until you see the +50% Credits boost.

Use these settings:

  • Drivatar difficulty: Unbeatable
  • Braking: ABS Off
  • Steering: Standard
  • Traction Control: Off
  • Stability Control: Off
  • Shifting: Manual

How much money does the method bring

With these settings on, you get significantly more money from your races. You get approximately 140,000 Credits every 6 minutes if you’re using one of the aforementioned cars with +50% Credits boost and the VIP Bonus. Without the VIP, you get significantly fewer credits.

Can this method be patched or nerfed?

Yes. Passive and AFK-style farms are always vulnerable to balance changes. Players have already been discussing and asking for lower rewards from Auto Drive-style methods, as it’s the lowest-interaction possible to the point of barely even playing the game. Developers usually don’t want that, so there’s always a chance that the method will be changed in some way.

Can I get banned for using this passive method?

There’s no chance of getting banned for using this farm method, as it does not involve doing anything that’s not already a part of the game. This is not an exploit or a bug abuse, the method relies on the functionality that the developers put in the game themselves.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: Is this the fastest way to earn money in Forza Horizon 6?

A: No, this method will not beat some of the manual ways to earn money, but it’s completely autonomous and hands-free.

Q: Can this method be done in the Goliath race?

A: While this method can be applied to the Goliath race, the payout per time spent is much worse.

Q: Can any other car be used in this method?

A: You can use any car, but these two FE cars have credit boost skills.

Q: What further preparation should be made?

A: Prepare everything so that the racing is uninterrupted: plug in your controller via wire so it doesn’t disconnect, and turn off any kind of sleep mode on your PC or Console. Keep in mind that you can’t Alt-Tab from the game, it gets put on pause.

Q: Does this method give me XP and Car Mastery?

A: XP and Car Mastery gains are severely limited when Auto Drive is enabled.

Q: What should I use my amassed credits on?

A: You can get one of the most expensive cars in the game.
