To successfully venture deeper into the Hercules Realm, you have to present a few different gods with offerings in Disney Dreamlight Valley. One of the trickier versions of this task you’ll encounter asks you to gather some offerings in the clearing.
Scavenger hunt missions in quests are always rather tough, as you’re generally not given much information to work with, but this one is especially difficult since you’re in a new area that’s quite dark. If this task is giving you trouble, here’s how to gather some offerings in the clearing in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
Gather some offerings in the clearing in Disney Dreamlight Valley
There are three different types of offerings you can find around the clearing in DDV during the Moonlighting as a Hero quest, and each one must be found a total of three times to progress through this portion of the mission. The offerings you need to find include:
- Greek Clay
- Greek Flowers
- Sylvan Wood
Start by hunting around the clearing for some Greek Clay. You’re looking for brown, sparkling mud spots. All three of them were close to the pond under the large waterfall in the middle of the clearing for me, so search around this area to locate them. When you find one of these spots, equip your Royal Shovel to dig the spot up and claim a piece of Greek Clay.
Next up, you need to find some Greek Flowers. You’re looking for some flower bundles featuring three unique blooms, including a Crimson Eternal Poppy, a Teal Eternal Poppy, and a Fuchsia Eternal Poppy. I found one on the left side of the waterfall and pond area, close to the rock wall, another near the large stone pillar close to the Realm entrance, which is also where you can find one of the Muse Vase Pieces, and the last one near the edge of the clearing area, close to the pedestal over by where you met Phil for the first time.
The final offering you can find around the clearing is Sylvan Wood. This item drops from some tree stumps scattered around the area. I came across two of these stumps in the woods on the left side of the waterfall, close to where one of the Greek Flowers was, and the other stump near one of the large stone pillars over by the Realm entrance. When you find the stumps, equip and use your Royal Shovel to dig the Sylvan Wood out of the stump.
With this tricky scavenger hunt out of the way, you’re one massive step closer to unlocking Hercules and Phil as official valley villagers. There’s still quite a lot to get done around the Realm before you can restore peace to the area, allowing the dynamic duo to feel comfortable leaving and joining you back in your peaceful village. If you want to recruit them, you’ll have to keep exploring the area and work your way through the missions that pop up next, including the Speedrun Crash Course quest, the Thunderstruck quest, and the A Real Godly Mess quest.
