Henry Novak’s killer was caught on camera brandishing a “gun” in his back garden, three years before he murdered the student.
Footage has emerged of Vickrum Digwa holding what appears to be an airgun as he stands in the garden on 18 October, 2022, whilst a second, unidentified person shoots bullets at a wooden board.
The neighbour who filmed the footage said that they were startled by “loud gunshots” coming from next door and went to inspect.
“We filed a report to the police, but they told us they couldn’t do anything as there had been no reports from other residents,” they said.
The Independent has contacted Hampshire Police for comment.
Digwa, 23, was jailed for life with a minimum term of 21 years for the murder of Mr Nowak at Southampton Crown Court on 1 June.
