Haiti's government has launched a call to arms for their worldwide diaspora to cheer them to victory against Scotland.
Scotland face the Caribbean nation in the early hours of Sunday morning in Boston for the crunch World Cup opener.
Very few Haitian fans will be able to travel from their homeland to support their team because of travel restrictions and bans imposed by the US government.
But the country's government has issued a plea to the huge global diaspora of millions of Haitians around the world to back their side against the Scots.
A government statement said: "We commend the bravery, resilience, determination and exemplary commitment of the Haitian national team, which, true to the legacy of the Grenadiers of Vertieres, carries the hopes of an entire nation.
"Haiti returns to the world stage after 52 years. This qualification is much more than a sporting achievement. It represents a powerful symbol of hope, perseverance and confidence in the future of the Haitian nation.
