A Washington state man has claimed in a series of TikTok videos that he encountered a woman inside his vehicle and later used his car alarm to prompt her to leave during a tense exchange. The man, who posts online as Trevor Mozingo (@TrevorMozingo), described the incident across several videos shared on the platform. The claims have not been independently verified, and no police reports have been publicly confirmed.
In the first video shared in early June 2026 and filmed from his perspective, Mozingo sounds surprised as he opens his car door and finds a woman sitting in the back seat. He reacts in confusion, initially wondering whether he may have approached the wrong vehicle.
In a follow-up video, he says he initially wondered whether it might be a prank or a case of mistaken identity before concluding the situation was real. The footage shows him attempting to process what he says he was seeing in real time.
Mozingo says he accidentally left his car unlocked
Mozingo later said he unintentionally left his car unlocked the day before the incident. Responding to commenters, he said, “I think I just spaced out and forgot to lock the car door,” adding, “Yes, I know it was an accident. It just slipped my mind.”
When he returned to the vehicle, he opened the door and found the woman inside. “I open the door, and that lady is just sitting in the back seat,” he said in the video. After noticing his belongings inside, he realized the vehicle was his.

According to Mozingo’s account, he asked the woman to exit the vehicle so he could leave. He claims she initially resisted, allegedly threatened him with his golf club in the car, and told him to prove ownership by starting the car. These allegations have not been independently verified.
Mozingo said the situation ended when he activated his key fob to activate the alarm, causing the horn to sound. He claimed the woman exited the car shortly afterward.
In the second post, he addressed questions about why he did not immediately call the police. He said he did not view the situation as an emergency requiring an immediate response and suggested that wait times could have been significant.
Following the incident, Mozingo also claimed he noticed an odor inside the vehicle and aired it out. He said the only item missing afterward was a pair of sunglasses, while other belongings remained inside the car. He said he recovered his golf club.
